Where are you located?
I am based in Frankfort, NY, and serve clients all over New York State and neighboring states!
Do you travel far?
I travel anywhere in the Northeast United States for my clients. I charge $0.50 per mile for any location over 50 miles from area code 13340. For travel out of state for events, I work with my clients on accommodations.
What kind of music do you play?
I play anything you would like at your event! My library is filled with thousands of songs across all different genres and time periods.
How long have you been DJing?
Though I established my business in July of 2017, I have been DJing since September 2013.
Do you have lights?
Of course! At no extra cost, I can supply any and all of my dance lights for your event!
Do you have wireless microphones?
Yes, I have wireless handheld microphones with me at every event and a lapel microphone for use during ceremonies.
How much do you charge for overtime?
My overtime rates vary based on the type of event.
Do you have a contract?
Yes, if the client would like to continue with scheduling my service I will provide them with my contract and walk them through it with an in-person, phone, video chat, or email consultation, depending on the client's preference.
How much time do you need to set up before an event?
I need about an hour to an hour and a half to set up my full equipment at a venue.
Do you take requests from my guests?
Yes, I do! I open the DJ booth up to requests unless otherwise stated not to by my client.
How involved can we be in selecting music for our event?
As involved as you want to be! My contract gives you the opportunity to express your MUST PLAY songs or artists and your DO NOT PLAY songs or artists.
How up-to-date is your library?
I am constantly adding new music weekly to my library. I am always looking to expand my library and if I do not have a specific song you are looking for, I will make sure to have it for your event, if provided ahead of time.
Is all your music clean?
My library contains clean, radio-edited music so that it is friendly for all ages. If my client asks for explicit versions, I am willing to play those versions if notified ahead of time.
Are you an emcee as well / can you make announcements for our event?
Yes, I emcee at no extra cost. My job is to make sure your event runs smoothly and seamlessly, and am happy to make any announcements needed.
What makes you different than other DJs?
I am a young, experienced, and personable DJ. Many DJs in the industry are either just starting out, getting too old to keep up with the current hits, just want your money, or are just flat-out stubborn and mean. I am not like that. Anybody who knows me knows that I am a loving, friendly, and dedicated guy to my work, my friends, my family, and my clients.
How long will you hold the date of our event for us?
Once we have met and gone over the contract, your date is reserved for two weeks at which time your deposit and the first portion of the contract are due. After two weeks, if your deposit and contract are not sent, then your date is no longer reserved but is still able to be booked if the date is not already booked by another client.
How much do we need to put down to book our date?
The minimum deposit to book your wedding or event is 50% of the total quoted balance.
